Are you familiar with MRSA? MRSA is the common acronym used to refer to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, an antibiotic resistant strain of staph infection. While MRSA has been around for decades it is of concern to doctors and medical professionals because of its resistance to standard treatments. From the study, “People are more likely to contract food borne infections in domestic homes than from eating in restaurants, cafes, and bars. This is because people who work at these establishments have training on how to disinfect properly, unlike most users of domestic kitchens.
