For companies who do not have any in-house cleaning crew with knowledge of addressing bio hazardous cleanups, the option of hiring a bio hazard cleaner company or an accident scene cleaner company is advisable. Of course, many of these companies may have, and probably do have their own maintenance /custodial crew or cleaning service that comes in regularly. However, few of these have a cleanup staff with familiarity of pertinent state and federal regulations.

Depending on the nature of the biohazard and the issue of whether it includes any hazardous components, different governmental authorities could have oversight of the spill or illegal release. The Environmental Protection Agency and Health Department enforces the disposal of substances. Individual states have their own environmental protection departments which frequently have overlapping regulations with the EPA. OSHA is a federal agency which reviews workplace conditions to ensure workers are free from dangerous conditions. Many cities and counties have ordinances which further regulate the handling and cleaning of biohazardous or medical waste materials.

Most reputable bio hazard clean up companies and accident clean up companies use their knowledge of such different regulatory rules to assist entities in the public and private sector with compliance and cleanup. Further many of these bio hazard cleaning companies and accident cleaning companies also have experience with blood scene clean ups, homicide scene clean ups, suicide scene clean ups, meth lab clean ups, odor removal clean ups and death scene clean ups not to mention staph infection scene clean ups. This enables them to bring a broad range of expertise to bear in assisting those who face the need to clean up dangerous materials.

The manager of the large department store was tired. With just three days before Christmas he had been working fourteen hours per day minimum since the day after Thanksgiving. His feet were killing him and he was worried his store total sales would not reach last years figures. He needed to have three brisk days of business. At 8:30 p.m. he got a call from security that a shoplifting was in progress over in the computer and games department. As he approached the section he saw two of his security guards seek to physically apprehend the suspect. Fortunately they were behind an aisle that could not be observed by other customers at that point in time because customers were dispersed elsewhere.

As he got closer, he saw the perpetrator pull out a knife and stab one of the guards. He ran over and assisted the other guard literally tackling the man wielding the knife and immediately called his assistant manager to get emergency medical help and direct that they come around to the back of the store. He then called 911 and requested the police do the same. By 8:40 they both had arrived and the injured security guard was lifted on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Further the police arrested the shoplifter.

His big problem now was getting that part of the store back into the shape necessary for it to be open to the public by the next morning and to be able to state unequivocally that there is no undue health risk that would result from shopping there. The police officer had recommended he call a blood scene cleaner company or trauma scene cleaner company. The company he called, Advanced Bio-Treatment, also did crime scene cleanups, accident scene cleanups, homicide scene cleanups, suicide scene cleanups, meth lab cleanups, odor removal cleanups and death scene cleanups not to mention staph infection scene cleanups so they were well suited for the task.

The person at the company with whom they spoke understood the gravity of the situation and the time constraints under which they had to operate. They sent out a crew that arrived about ten thirty p.m. and cleaned and decontaminated the affected area of the store by 2 a.m. As the manager lay down to get two or three hours of sleep before the two busiest days of the year he was able to sleep well because he had learned his security guard was fine and he knew his computer and games department would be open and immaculate in the morning.

For property owners, and particularly commercial property landlords, if you fail to adequately clean and sanitize your property after a crime is committed there and you leave the possibility that an unsafe or unsanitary condition exists you could face two distinct problems: (1) an increase your property insurance premiums or (2) a denial of some future claim that may arise (even if the insurance company’s position is unreasonable).

Dealing with insurance companies rates right behind going to the dentist or the proctologist as one of the least attractive endeavors that people must occasionally undertake. The difficulties of working with insurance companies stem both from trying to get and retain coverage for a particular purpose and getting an insurance company to properly and fairly pay a claim once an event happens that triggers coverage.

For property owners, and particularly commercial property landlords, one area that should be of concern is if a crime or other traumatic incident occurs on your property. If you fail to adequately clean and sanitize your property after a crime is committed there and you leave the possibility that an unsafe or unsanitary condition exists you could face two distinct problems: (1) an increase your property insurance premiums or (2) a denial of some future claim that may arise (even if the insurance company’s position is unreasonable).

To ward against such a problem it is advisable that, if you own property upon which an accident, bio hazard or crime is committed, you should hire a professional scene cleaning company. Frequently companies that do perform crime scene cleaning also perform infectious disease cleaning, homicide scene cleaning, accident scene cleaning, suicide scene cleaning, death scene cleaning, blood scene cleaning and meth lab site cleaning so you can enlist someone who has experience dealing with problems that have both environmental (or sanitary) and legal components to them.

If you hire such a crime scene cleaner or bio hazard cleaner then you can submit proof of the completion of their work to show that any toxic or hazardous residue from an incident has been removed and that the premises are safe for habitation. This will undercut any argument that an insurance company may try to use to raise your premiums or deny any future claims.

For many metropolitan areas, problems with lack of adequate sanitation or cleanliness pose an ever greater problem as more and more Americans migrate to major cities where jobs are more plentiful. Not only does higher population density in major cities place more emphasis on effective sanitation but also raises the need for smart crime scene cleaning.

Crime scene cleaning companies, which frequently also perform murder scene cleanings, unattended death scene cleanings, homicide scene cleanings, suicide scene cleanings, blood scene cleanings, staph infection cleanings, mrsa infection cleanings, meth lab cleanings and bio hazard cleanings supplement a municipality’s or county’s sanitation service’s responsibilities. While the latter focuses on the broad and recurring job of keeping the entire jurisdiction’s trash collected and disposed, the former pinpoints the recurring but far less regular job of ensuring that the mess made by a crime, whether it be stabbing, shooting, automobile accident or meth lab production not leave a toxic or environmentally unsafe mark on the area.

Just as the sanitation companies also prevent the kind of group psychological damage that was famously epitomized in the 1970’s in New York when sanitation workers went on strike, crime scene cleaning companies preclude the type of local strain that would result from leaving a crime scene unattended and untreated. Accordingly, cities and counties should make efforts to retain crime scene cleanup companies as a regular part of their response to criminal activities.

Prior to the inception of the MRSA infection, doctors could treat patients merely for staph infections. Then in the early 1960’s, after the usage of methicillin became a standard treatment for staph infections, the new MRSA infection was discovered. This infection is essentially resistant to methicillin hence the official moniker, methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA.

The symptoms of MRSA are cellulitis, impetigo, abscesses, sty and carbuncles. Most of these involve types of skin infections. The particular infection is transmitted by touching someone who has the infection. Also it can be picked up by touching towels, door handles, sinks or floors to which the infection (a collection of bacteria) has already been spread. The latter form of transmission underscores the need to make sure that, if you want to ensure the infection will not be communicated to other people who inhabit either your residence, place of work or other place of habitation, bring in a reputable staph infection cleaning company.

The homicide scene cleaner company had been on the site of the murder for over six hours but had not yet been given the green light to proceed with their murder scene cleanup. The murder had occurred more than eight hours ago and the police detective in charge of the case had called them shortly after he had arrived on the scene. But the suspect had been shot by the eventual decedent before the victim expired. Accordingly, the samples of blood on the scene were possibly, though not clearly, mixed. The police were trying to get the best toxicology experts out to the scene because of the problem they faced. They wanted to ensure the blood that was taken at the scene was properly collected so they could run valid DNA tests on the samples.

Accordingly, the homicide scene cleaning company staff waited. Since these homicide scene cleaners also performed accident scene cleanings, crime scene cleanings, suicide scene cleanings, blood scene cleanings, meth lab cleanings, odor removal cleanings and other death scene cleanings, they were completely sensitive to the problem. They did clean up a little bit of debris from the area but nothing of great significance.

Finally, the toxicology experts confirmed they had been able to collect several samples of blood that were clearly different types. At that point the detective told the death scene clean up company to proceed with its work. For the next few hours they scrubbed and scoured the premises before finally decontaminating the area. They consulted with the police additionally before finishing their work after being on site for upwards of twelve hours.

An unattended death cleaning is much more than just removal of a body. Unattended death cleaning companies generally also do murder scene cleanings, crime scene cleanings, homicide scene cleanings, suicide scene cleanings, blood scene cleanings, meth lab cleanings, staph infection cleanings, mrsa infection cleanings and bio hazard cleanings. These experiences give the unattended death scene cleaners the correct perspective on how to approach the job.

First, they must check with law enforcement authorities to determine the length of time the corpse has been there. By knowing this information, the unattended death scene cleaning company staff can assess the probabilities that the decomposed tissue, blood, organic material and odor could have seeped in to a location’s walls, flooring, grout, subfloors, upholstery and cement. The longer the time, the more difficult the odor remediation.

They, of course, must dispose of all the visible items that are left from the corpse: bodily fluids, blood, discarded or separated tissue, feces and even limbs. Usually removal of some of these items involves coordination with the police particularly if the police intend to maintain an open investigation into the cause of death and whether it was a homicide. The professional character of the unattended death cleaning companies is an important aspect when choosing such a company. Their ability to work well with the police shall be a factor in the proper completion of their duties.

And when the unattended corpse is found by a family member, the unattended death cleaning company or death scene cleaning company, if professional, shall be cognizant of the need to treat the family of the deceased with the respect and sensitivity it deserves.

The bio hazard cleaning company arrived in their bright haz-mat suits looking like a group of astronauts. A petroleum processing and propane transfer station had a leak which exploded killing two people in a massive fireball. OSHA had completed their work and now the company needed to exercise efforts to ease tensions within the community and their personnel. This would begin with cleanup efforts designed to remove any traces of the deceased’s bodies.

The members of the crew discussed the chemical properties of the leaked material and whether it may have mixed with any other substances. The bio hazard clean up crew, working in tandem with the OSHA and plant officials designed a cleanup and disinfection plan. At this point, they ascertained what cleaning agents and solvents would be needed to get their job done. The crew then proceeded with the bio hazard cleanup.

After they finished the job, they put together, in compliance with an OSHA request, a report on the details of the cleanup. Since they are part of a company that also conducts crime scene cleanups, accident scene cleanups, homicide scene cleanups, suicide scene cleanups, meth lab cleanups, odor removal cleanups and death scene cleanups not to mention staph infection scene cleanups, they have extensive experience working with law enforcement or other oversight authorities. Of course, the people who wrote the report did not have to construct it while wearing the flashy protective outfits that set them apart from the workers at the plant they had seen.

The drug dealer’s girl friend took the man to meet the dealer outside a Kentucky Fried Chicken a few miles from where he supposedly lived. She took her boyfriend the money and he told them to wait there. Little did they know the man was an undercover police officer and that another unmarked vehicle was following him back to his house. The dealer returned with the crystal meth the man had purchased.

The man did this two more times over the next six weeks. At that point, the girlfriend, believing this guy was safe, gave him the dealer’s address and met him and the front door to exchange the marked bills for another quantity of the meth. At this point, recognizing they had more than enough evidence to secure a warrant went and applied for one with the magistrate judge. After securing it, they took three police units with six officers and executed the warrant searching the premises. It did not take long to find the meth lab, locate a huge amount of currency and arrest the dealer. After processing the scene, they contacted a certified meth lab cleaner company to come and assess the lab.

Under state law, the meth lab cleaning company which also conducts suicide scene clean ups, accident scene clean ups, staph infection clean ups, odor removal clean ups and other death scene clean ups in addition to blood scene clean ups and crime scene clean ups, had many steps to follow to do this. First, they had to ”survey” the lab, read all the reports and the waste manifest from the lab removal company. Then they had to prepare a remediation report and submit it for approval. Then they had to execute the plan, cleaning the lab. Finally they had to secure a third party expert to verify that the cleaning met regulatory standards. Then they issued a report to the appropriate authority stating what they had done and confirming its completion.
